Monique can offer you personalised assistance and support throughout your integration process.  She can of course provide informal and written translations for you, but also accompany you as an interpreter in a host of situations, from complaining in shops to sorting out sticky misunderstandings with the tax office.

Language Assistance Membership

With the yearly membership you will have a native French speaker at your side when dealing with the complex French bureaucracy. 

Monique will be happy to answer all of your questions regarding : Administrative Procedures (Carte Vitale, Car Registration, schools etc.) - Household Utilities (Water, Electricity, Telephone, Internet, Heating Supplies etc.)  - Insurance (Home, Car, Property, Additional health care etc.) and many more.

She will also : Speak to authorities, tax officials or official bodies - Book and Cancel (Appointments, Hotels, Restaurants, Cars etc.) - Arrange hospital check-ups and hospital visits - Resolve any other issues that demand a perfect command of the French and the English language - Do informal translations of letters or documents.  She will not, however, pass your orders to the butcher or the baker ...

Membership Fees

Lessons

Private and group lessons can be arranged.

Prices vary from 3.50 € to 15 € depending on number of students and contents of the lesson.  Group lessons are paid monthly in advance, individual lessons each time.

Conversation : 15 € per hour, to share between participants, up to 6 people.

Translations

Formal written general purpose translations are charged au pro rata of 90 € per 1000 words.  For technical documents, ask for an estimate first, as the degree of difficulty can vary tremendously.
