The sink corner, in the kitchenette of a small holiday flat. The original sink was discarded and the new sink positoned round the corner, underneath the window, to give a bit more space.

Little did Steve know how hard this would prove. The elements were concreted into the wall ...

The wall underneath the tiles is not in a very good state. Some replastering will be necessary before tiling.

It might have been wonky and dislocated, but it was not dislodged easily. And what is revealed behind it is not a cheerful sight. Instead of the correct connections you would expect to find there, the outlet pipe was concreted into the wall ...
